Local move is considered as any move with in 100 Mile radius. Many factors determine the cost of a local move. Such as:

How ready are you when the movers arrive?
Are all your belongings packed?
How close can the truck park to your home?
Any hard-to-move items?
How much packing, unpacking and furniture placement would you like the movers to do for you?

Local moving charges are based upon hourly rates. The rate begins when the crew arrives at your first location and covers the total time of the move: the loading, driving to new location, and the unloading. Moving Charges Price is determined based on five elements: labor, trucks, materials, travel time, and valuation/insurance.

1 Labor - You pay an hourly rate for each member of your moving crew. The clock starts when the movers arrive at your front door and it stops when they complete their work at your new home
2 Trucks - You pay an hourly rate for each truck used for your move. Keep in mind that you will need a truck that has been specifically designed to move household goods
3 Materials - You pay for the exact cost of boxes and other packing materials provided by the mover during the move
4 Valuation/Insurance - You pay a basic fee to insure your belongings, in case of any damages that may occur during the move. The chart below will help you get an idea of how many hours and movers it may take for your move:
